The Siege of Nessebar

In 807, Krum sent a peace proposal to the Byzantine emperor, which was rejected. He consequently attacked Mesembria, modern Nessebar.
After a fourteen-day siege, Kan Krum captured Nessebar Fortress. His troops tested new siege equipment.
