Period: Ottoman rule

Yordan Nedev Yordanov, called "Indzheto", was a Bulgarian revolutionary detachment member who participated in Stefan Karadzha's detachment and Botev's detachment. His nickname "Indzheto" came from Georgi Rakovski.

Born in 1845, Yordan Nedev Yordanov participated in Stefan Karadzha's detachment in 1865. Suspected of detachment activity, he was captured near the village of Gorna Lipnitsa and sentenced to eight months in prison. In 1868, while in Tarnovo prison, he was the only witness to Voivode Stefan Karadzha's final days.

With his brother Petar Nedev Yordanov, he participated in Hristo Botev's detachment in May 1876. During the seizure of the steamer "Radetzky", he helped with his technical knowledge and stood beside the engineer.

Yordan Nedev maintained contact with the Vratsa Revolutionary Committee organised on Botev's detachment's arrival. In a battle with Circassians, he was wounded, escaped and reached Berkovitsa, but was captured and sentenced to life imprisonment.

After the Liberation in 1885, Yordan Nedev-Indzheto did not pursue a political career. He participated in the Serbo-Bulgarian War, organising a volunteer detachment called the "Second Botev Detachment" and serving as its voivode in fighting against Serbian troops.

He owned a bathhouse in Tarnovo and died on 29 May 1918.
