Teofil (Teofile) Stoyanov Mushmov was a Bulgarian revolutionary and active member of the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organisation (IMARO). Born in 1860 in the town of Struga, Teofil Mushmov came from a prominent merchant and revolutionary family in the region.

In 1895 Teofil Mushmov joined IMARO and became one of its founders in Struga. In January 1901 he was elected chairman of the district revolutionary committee, also bringing into it other important figures such as Milan Matov, Aleksandar Chakarov and Milan Nestorov. Through bribes he secured the goodwill of the town's police authorities, which was important for the development of revolutionary activity.

After the Ilinden-Preobrazhenie Uprising, in late 1903, Teofil Mushmov moved to the village of Trastenik in the Ruse district. There he continued his involvement in the liberation struggle and remained active in raising funds and support for Macedonian revolutionaries. Teofil Mushmov died in Trastenik.

Milan Matov, another prominent revolutionary, wrote about Teofil Mushmov, describing him as the first educator of the Struga district and a person of great influence in the region. He also stressed the importance of the authorities' trust in Mushmov, which greatly helped revolutionary efforts.

Teofil Mushmov's sons, Atanas and Petar, also took part in the First World War. Atanas received the Order of Bravery, Third Class, for his service as a junior non-commissioned officer in the Eleventh Macedonian Infantry Division, while Petar died at the front at Dobro Pole in the 2/11th Divisional Field Hospital.
