Spiro Ivanov, known as Karasulski, was a member of IMARO.
He was born in 1869 in Karasule, then part of the Ottoman Empire. He joined IMARO, taking its oath before the priest Stamat Tanchev, and carried out violent assignments for the Central Committee.
After several killings of spies, Ivancho Karasuliyata, Apostol Petkov and Spiro Karasulski went underground on 15 September 1897 to evade the authorities. Hristo Uzunov of Kufalovo later joined them. Karasuliyata commanded their band, with Apostol Petkov as deputy. In mid-February they joined a larger combined band. Operating in the Doiran, Gevgelija and Yenidje Vardar regions, it quickly spread fear among pro-Greek activists and abusive Ottoman figures.
During the First Balkan War in 1912, Karasulski volunteered for the Macedonian-Adrianople Volunteer Corps in Lazar Delev's band, part of the Composite Partisan Company.
By 1918, he had settled in Bulgaria. Living in destitution, he died by suicide in Sofia in 1929.
