Sava Iliev Mladenov was a Bulgarian revolutionary, born in 1845 in Teteven. He participated in the Second Bulgarian Legion in Belgrade in 1867–1868, where he met Vasil Levski and became his associate. After the legion was disbanded, he returned to Teteven and actively participated in the work of its community cultural centre in 1869.

In 1870 Sava Mladenov joined the Internal Revolutionary Organisation and became involved in Vasil Levski's important revolutionary activities. Levski authorised him to operate in northern and southern Bulgaria; he helped establish numerous local revolutionary committees and carried out special assignments from the Apostle.

After Levski's death, Sava Mladenov settled in Romania and joined Hristo Botev's detachment. His tragic end came on 21 June 1876, when he died following a betrayal at the locality of Koznitsa in the Teteven Balkan Mountains.

Sava Iliev Mladenov was one of Vasil Levski's most trusted associates and is known for his devotion to the Bulgarian revolutionary struggle.
