Sava Georgiev Katrafilov, also known as Sava Kirov Katrafilov, was a Bulgarian priest and revolutionary born in 1836 in Elena. He attended Bulgaria's first class school, the Elena Daskalolivnitsa, and graduated from the theological seminary in Bolhrad, Russia.
During his career he worked as a teacher in several towns and villages, including Todyuvtsi, Targovishte, Razgrad, Shumen, Burgas, at the Saints Cyril and Methodius School between 1872 and 1875, Malko Tarnovo, Asenovgrad and elsewhere. He also became an ecclesiastical deputy in Razgrad.
Sava Katrafilov actively participated in both the struggle for an independent national church and the revolutionary struggle. As a teacher in the village of Merichleri, he led a revolt against the Protestants. He was a member of the Chirpan Local Revolutionary Committee and participated in the attempt on Hadzhi Stavri Primo's life in Haskovo. He was also a member of the Aytos Local Revolutionary Committee.
In 1875, after devoting himself entirely to revolutionary activity, he emigrated to Romania. There he assembled a small detachment that joined Hristo Botev's detachment. Sava Katrafilov became a member of its staff and, when they entered Bulgarian territory, administered the detachment's oath. He displayed great bravery in the fighting and was seriously wounded at the Battle of Milin Kamak on 18 May 1876. He was probably killed on the spot by Turkish troops.
