Title: Hajduk

Petre Dundar was a seventeenth-century Bulgarian hajduk from the village of Berantsi in the Bitola region. He became voivode of a 44-man detachment operating in the Lerin region. In 1635, however, he was captured and convicted. Witnesses at his trial demanded that he be hanged.

Under Dundar's command, the detachment attacked the major merchant and moneylender Hadzhi Hasan in the village of Letnitsa in the Bitola region. Soon afterwards, however, Dundar himself was captured and sentenced by the Sharia court in Bitola, bringing his struggle to an end with a death sentence by hanging.
