Period: Ottoman rule

Nikola S. Geroyski, also called Geroyat (the Hero), was a Bulgarian revolutionary and Bitola voivode of the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organisation.

He was born in the village of Brezovo, then part of the Ottoman Empire and now in North Macedonia. Geroyski began his revolutionary activity as voivode of a hajduk band in the Skopje region.

In 1895 he participated in the Macedonian Committee's campaign, but his detachment was defeated and he was captured. He then spent time in prison in Skopje and on the island of Rhodes, but was amnestied in 1897 and returned to the Principality of Bulgaria.

In the summer or late autumn of 1897 he resumed detachment activity as a fighter under the first Kichevo voivode, Duko Tasev. In 1899 he set out with a detachment for the Bitola district.

He attempted to obtain a ransom for a kidnapped wealthy man's son, Matsancheto, but a conflict arose with the local bandit Rampo Dudin from Prilep, leading Matsancheto to betray the detachment. This resulted in an affair in which people from the Krushevo and Bitola districts were arrested.

Nikola Geroyski died on 27 August 1899 in a battle with Turkish troops.
