Kocho Matev, known as Kurshuma (the Bullet), was a Bulgarian revolutionary and Kichevo voivode of the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organisation (IMARO).

He was born in the village of Krushitsa in the Kichevo district, then part of the Ottoman Empire. He joined IMARO and served as a voivode in the Kichevo district during the Ilinden-Preobrazhenie Uprising.

After the uprising was suppressed, Kocho Matev fled to the Principality of Bulgaria. In 1904 he returned to Macedonia with the combined detachment of Slaveyko Arsov and Stoyan Donski. On 9 July 1904 the detachment was betrayed by local supporters of the Serbian cause at the locality of Lingura near the village of Gorno Gyugyantsi in the Kratovo district, where Kocho Matev also died that evening.
