Hristo Argirov, known by the nickname Chausha, was a Bulgarian revolutionary, an active member of the Supreme Macedonian-Adrianople Committee and an Edessa voivode of the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organisation (IMARO).
He was born in Chichegas village in the Yenidje Vardar region, now in Greece. He joined IMARO and became a member of Apostol Voivode's detachment. In summer 1904, Argirov and Apostol Voivode organised attacks on supporters of the Patriarchate in the area between Gevgelija, Yenidje Vardar and Edessa, also threatening Naousa.
In May 1912, during the Balkan Wars, Argirov entered Macedonia as a member of Ichko Dimitrov's detachment, armed by Konstantin Dzekov's Supremist faction. He was appointed district voivode for Edessa.
That same year, during the First Balkan War, Argirov led an independent partisan company of the Macedonian-Adrianople Volunteer Corps operating in the Veria region and assisting the Greek army in capturing Veria and Naousa. In 1913, during the Second Balkan War, he and his entire detachment were captured during the Greek occupation and remained prisoners until February 1914.
After Greece occupied Aegean Macedonia, Argirov again became active as an IMRO voivode. He died in Sofia in 1922.
