Georgi Lazhot was a Bulgarian hajduk and revolutionary from Macedonia, born in Tsarevik near Prilep, then in the Ottoman Empire and now in North Macedonia. He joined Spiro Tsarnev's band in 1879 and later Dimitar Chakrev's. In 1882, he organised and led a small band in his home region. Keeping it together, he fought Ottoman troops until spring 1884, when the band was defeated near Veparchani and Lazhot was killed. Its members included Dimo Dedoto (Dedov), later a commander in his own right, Iliya Bachvarcheto and Georgi's brother Stoyan, who also died in 1884.
