Georgi Gotsev was a Bulgarian revolutionary from Macedonia. He was nicknamed "Krivio Daskal".

He was born in the small town of Berovo in the Maleshevo region in the early nineteenth century and was called "Krivio Daskal" ("the Lame Schoolmaster") because he walked with a limp. Gotsev received his education as a novice at Rila Monastery, where he studied under the renowned Bulgarian educator Neofit Rilski. He subsequently joined Ilyo Voivode's detachment and became his scribe.

For many years, Georgi Gotsev taught in various towns in Macedonia and arranged hiding places for Ilyo Voivode and his men. From 1865 to 1868, he taught in Kyustendil. Gotsev then served as a cantor at the Church of St Mina until the end of his life.

In 1881, Georgi Gotsev received a national pension for his 40 years of teaching, one of the first such pensions awarded in Bulgaria.
