Georgi Bokovala, or Georgi Kovachovaliyata, was a voivode. He took part in the Kresna-Razlog Uprising.
He was born around 1820 in the village of Kovachevo into a wealthy artisan family. In the early 1840s, he became a hajduk and began operating in the Pirinska Bistritsa area. He initially joined Ilyo Voivode's detachment, but later led his own. He took part in the Kresna-Razlog Uprising with his detachment, joining that of Stoyan Karastoilov. In October, he became an assistant to Georgi Kremenliyata, who had been tasked with controlling the Paril Saddle. In breach of headquarters' order not to enter villages, Kremenliyata's detachment spent the night in Chereshnitsa, which was attacked by Circassian cavalry the following day. Kremenliyata withdrew into the Pirin Mountains, while Georgi Bokovala stayed behind to cover the retreat, dying in the fighting near his native village of Kovachevo.
