Revolutionary Dimitar Kyuchukov

Dimitar Kyuchukov

Period: Ottoman rule

Dimitar Kyuchukov, nicknamed Malkiya (the Little One), was a Bulgarian revolutionary from Macedonia who served in Hristo Botev's detachment and participated in the Kresna–Razlog Uprising.

He was born in Kriva Palanka, then part of the Ottoman Empire and now in North Macedonia.

In 1876 Dimitar Kyuchukov served in Hristo Botev's detachment. In the list compiled by Zahari Stoyanov, a revolutionary activist and Botev's companion, he appears as Dimitar Kyuchyuka.

According to some sources, he also took part in the Kresna–Razlog Uprising of the Macedonian Bulgarians in 1878–1879, which followed the decisions of the Congress of Berlin leaving Macedonia outside the borders of the Principality of Bulgaria.
