Dimitar Nikolov Dishliev, known by the nicknames Dishliyata, Dimitar Pehlivan and Kasap Dimitar, was a Bulgarian hajduk born on 19 September 1841 who died on 11 May 1878.
Dishliyata was a butcher from the town of Sliven. He knew Hadzhi Dimitar from his youth, and in 1867 he participated in a campaign with Panayot Hitov's hajduk detachment. After this campaign he emigrated to Wallachia. In 1876 he joined Hristo Botev's detachment and participated in all its military operations, including the Battle of Milin Kamak. After the fighting, he and Todor Iliev from the Lovech district separated from the detachment and attempted to cross the border into Romania. They were captured, however, by a Turkish pursuit force near Oryahovo and taken to prison in Vidin, where they were tortured.
Dishliyata was then sentenced to fifteen years of exile in the fortress of Saint-Jean-d'Acre. He remained a prisoner there until 19 March 1878, when he was released.
Dishliyata grew up as a close friend of Hadzhi Nikola's son, and the two also learned the hajduk's skills together. There are reports that in 1859 they participated in a clash with Kostaki, the physician of Sliven.
