Boyko Neshov Tonchev (Ganchev) was a Bulgarian revolutionary born in Koprivshtitsa. He served in Rakovski's First Bulgarian Legion and Panayot Hitov's band. After the Liberation, he became deputy mayor of Sofia and a benefactor of the Red Cross, donating his house on Benkovska Street.

Hitov's band drew members from across the country. In his memoir My Journey through the Balkan Mountains and the Lives of Some Old and New Hajduks, Hitov carefully listed his comrades, placing Boyko Neshov of Koprivshtitsa eleventh.

With Hristo Makedonski's assistance, Boyko formed his own band in 1876 and fought in the Serbo-Turkish War. Earlier, like many Bulgarians seeking a trade, he had gone to Constantinople in 1862, where the source says he made contact with the First Bulgarian Legion. After its dissolution, he and other legionaries left for Romania, where he joined Hitov's band.
