Third Battle of Çatalca
Year: 1913
Location: Çatalca, Eastern Thrace
Period: Third Bulgarian State
Ruler: Ferdinand
The Battle of Çatalca, fought from 3 to 6 March 1913, was the third engagement between Bulgarian and Ottoman troops before Çatalca. In the previous battle there, the Bulgarians had been pushed back 10–15 kilometres.
Like the previous battle there, this engagement brought no major success to either side. The Bulgarian forces nevertheless managed to retain control of Eastern Thrace and were able to provide reinforcements to the Second Army for the operation to capture Edirne.
