Eftim, or Timo, Angelov, known as the Prince, was a Bulgarian revolutionary and activist of the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organisation.
He was born in Berkovitsa in 1882. He was one of the founders of the Trayko Kitanchev Secret Revolutionary Circle at the Ironworking School in Samokov. His involvement in preparing a workshop to manufacture bombs for the organisation earned him the nicknames Timo the Prince and Eftim the Tsar.
In 1900, he joined a detachment in the Razlog region. The following year, he began producing counterfeit silver coins, which were distributed mainly by Aleksandar Dyulgerov, a teller at the Bulgarian Agricultural Bank, for about eighteen months.
In 1903, Angelov was appointed voivode in the Tikveš region. On 24 March that year, he and other voivodes, including Hristo Chernopeev, Kosta Mazneykov and Nikola Dechev, gathered 190 men and set off for Macedonia. Despite their efforts, the detachment failed to break through the Turkish blockade and was forced to retreat to Bulgaria.
After the failure in Macedonia, Angelov joined a group preparing bombs for the forthcoming Ilinden–Preobrazhenie Uprising. On 26 July 1903, while he was working on another bomb intended for a terrorist attack in Constantinople's harbour, an explosion killed him, Milan Popmihaylov and a woman. This accident thwarted Popmihaylov and Angelov's plans to return to Tikveš with a new detachment to support the uprising.
