Petar Hristov Yurukov was a Bulgarian revolutionary and voivode of the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organisation (IMARO). He was born in 1878 or on 19 December 1882 (Old Style) in the town of Karlovo, Eastern Rumelia. He studied in various towns, including Samokov, where he chaired the Trayko Kitanchev revolutionary circle. He became an IMARO activist and trained in Mihail Apostolov-Popeto's detachment.

In 1902 Yurukov participated in the Miss Stone affair and became secretary of the Doyran regional detachment. He was active in various areas, including the Tikvesh district, which he entered in February 1902 and where he fought Doncho Zlatkov's detachment.

During the Ilinden-Preobrazhenie Uprising in 1903, Yurukov served on the main insurgent staff of the Kozhuh Revolutionary District. He led a large detachment and militia and took part in several battles, including at Drenovtsi, in the Begnishte area, at Dragozhel, in the Galishte area and at Koprishnitsa in the Tikvesh district.

After the uprising he became voivode for Krushevo, leaving Hristo Guvev from Koshani in Tikvesh as his deputy. In the autumn of 1905, after a fierce battle with Serbian armed detachments in Macedonia, Yurukov was seriously wounded. Despite efforts to save him, he contracted typhus and died on 18 January 1906. At his own request, he was buried in the Yurushka neighbourhood of Begnishte.
