He was born in 1884 in the village of Banitsa in the Lerin district, then part of the Ottoman Empire and now in Greece. After the Young Turk Revolution in 1908 he resumed legal activity, but went underground again in March 1911 and helped restore the revolutionary organisation.
After the First World War he was IMRO's Lerin district voivode. In 1920 he organised the activities of the customs post at Popovi Livadi in the Pirin Mountains to raise money for the organisation. He also participated in various operations and detachments, collecting contributions from merchants and other sources.
In 1934 he settled in the town of Stanimaka, now Asenovgrad, where he was investigated in a legal inquiry.
