Filip Grigorov
Filip Grigorov was born in the town of Pirdop, where he became an active participant in revolutionary activities. In 1895 he participated in the Macedonian Committee's armed detachment campaign and the burning of Dospat.
He then moved to Sofia and began studying at the non-commissioned officers' school in Lozenets. There, together with Nikola Rusinski, he organised a secret revolutionary circle of fifteen men in 1896 – 1897. Although the circle was discovered, they managed to cross into the Maleshevo district, where they joined the first Maleshevo detachment.
In July the detachment merged with another unit under Gotse Delchev's leadership and actively participated in raising money for the revolutionary organisation.
Filip Grigorov remained committed to the revolutionary struggle as one of the leading figures of the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organisation. Although the exact date of his death is unknown, it is believed to have been after 1932.
