Asen Ivanov Parteniev was a Bulgarian revolutionary and voivode of the Supreme Macedonian-Adrianople Committee. He was born in the town of Lom in 1875 or 1876. He studied in his native town and later graduated from the Military School in Sofia.

During the Ilinden-Preobrazhenie Uprising in 1903, Asen Parteniev became deputy voivode in Yurdan Stoyanov's detachment. This detachment helped support the uprising in the Serres Revolutionary District, taking part in battles at Etipitsa Peak and the locality of Garvanina, the major battle near the village of Pirin and other engagements.

In 1904 Asen Parteniev became voivode of a detachment in the Maleshevo district. On 7 April 1905 the detachments of Parteniev and Captain Yurdan Stoyanov fell into an ambush near the village of Kashina in the Melnik district, organised by Yane Sandanski. During the clash, Parteniev was wounded in both shoulders, captured and had his throat cut on Sandanski's orders. This incident occurred amid internal conflicts in the revolutionary movement.
