Alekso Nikolov Malchev, known as Poroyliyata or Poroyski, was a Bulgarian revolutionary and activist of the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organisation (IMARO) and the Supreme Macedonian-Adrianople Committee. He was born in 1864 in the village of Dolni Poroy, now part of Kato Poroia in Greece. In his youth he worked as a pack-saddle maker and farmer.
He joined the revolutionary struggle as an IMARO member in early October 1895 and became a terrorist operative within the organisation. At different times he belonged to the detachments of Mihail Apostolov, Mihail Chakov and Ivan Savov, becoming an independent voivode in late 1900. He fought a number of engagements against Turkish military forces in the Poroy and Petrich regions, including during the Gorna Dzhumaya Uprising of 1902.
He is known for his activity in the Macedonian liberation struggle, but was also accused of betrayals and persecution of his compatriots. His role and influence in the revolutionary organisation were controversial among his comrades.
Alekso Poroyliyata was killed on 26 July 1903 in a battle with Turkish forces in the Adzhiytsa locality between the villages of Stinik and Igumenets in the Petrich region. According to one account, he was seriously wounded and chose to take his own life rather than fall into enemy hands. Another version claims that he was killed by Doncho Zlatkov, an IMARO activist, after which his execution was carried out in Igumenets.
Alekso Poroyliyata's death was accompanied by the killing of the IMARO activist Aleksandar Iliev, also known as Kliment Ketskarov, which led to his complete transfer to the Supreme Macedonian-Adrianople Committee.
